Frank Nelson Building, Birmingham, AL

The historic Frank Nelson building was constructed at the turn of the 20th century as the First National Bank Building and later renamed after real estate developer Frank Nelson, Jr. in 1939.  The building, which offered its basement as a fall out shelter during the Cold War,  was purchased in 2017 by a local revitalization group, Orchestra Partners, and is now known as The Frank.
